Greenway Family Success Center staff excited to share the news about their new location in Avenel
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Greenway Family Success Center (GFSC) is delighted to announce the grand re-opening ceremony of its newly relocated center in Avenel. The celebration will take place on June 21st, 2023, from 11 a.m, to 1 p.m.at the new Greenway Family Success Center, at 1005 Rahway Ave, Unit 1, in Avenek.
The event will begin with an invitation-only ceremony from 11 a.m, to 1 p.m. followed by an Open House welcoming all community members from 1:30-3:30pm.
The highlight of the event will be the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 p.m., symbolizing the center’s commitment to serving families and fostering community well-being. Following the ceremony, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a networking session, tour the facility, and enjoy some light refreshments.

Since its establishment in February 2017, Greenway Family Success Center has been dedicated to providing free family services and empowering the community. Formerly housed within the esteemed Fords Theater, GFSC has embarked on a significant journey. In 2023, their team moved to Avenel where they will continue to offer the same free family services that have made it a beloved gathering place for families in the community.
Families love coming together at the Greenway Family Success Center to participate in free fun activities, educational workshops, and engage with their neighbors. The center prides itself on connecting individuals with local resources that are meaningful and helpful, ranging from food pantries to tutoring assistance. GFSC’s work is driven by the community it serves, and it eagerly encourages community members to share their voices and experiences.

The Greenway Family Success Center is one of five Family Success Centers operated by community nonprofit, Prevention Links. These centers serve as community-based neighborhood gathering places where individuals and families can access support, information, and services. From parenting workshops to health, housing, life skills, and employment assistance, the centers offer a range of free programs, activities, and workshops tailored to strengthen families and empower positive change within the community.
