Substance use disorder can be stopped before it starts. Here is how we do it.
Our Health and Wellness Coalition (HAWC) brings together concerned community members across different sectors throughout Union County to assess county-wide prevention needs, develop and implement strategies based on those needs, and evaluate the impact of those strategies.
Prevention Links offers school-based prevention programs for grades K-12. All of these programs are evidence-based and tailored to the population and grade level being served.
Substance misuse is a threat across the lifespan, and Prevention Links implements targeted outreach programs that are open to the community in order to educate residents and raise awareness about current drug trends and enhance protective factors.
Prevention Links has over two decades’ experience in applying the strategic prevention framework to build coalitions of support to combat substance misuse at the county level. We partner with communities and municipalities who are interested in applying for a federal Drug Free Communities grant and provide technical assistance if awarded.
Our Community Prevention Division is led by Kelley Ryan who can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 732-381-4100. Contact Kelley to learn about any of our Community Prevention programs and initiatives.
