EMBRACE stands for Engagement, Mobility, Belonging, Respect, Accessibility, Community, and Empowerment.
At its core, EMBRACE is about creating spaces where every person feels seen, heard, and supported. It reflects our commitment to listening with intention, learning from one another’s lived experiences, and ensuring our actions align with our values.
Our Purpose
The EMBRACE Committee exists to foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and support for all employees and participants. Through this work, we strengthen our organization from the inside out—so that everyone who walks through our doors feels a true sense of belonging.
Our Core Focus Areas
Education
We provide ongoing trainings and host events that build awareness and deepen understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Open & Honest Communication
We prioritize transparency and create space for meaningful conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion across our organization.
Safe Spaces
We actively listen to staff and the community to understand their needs, ensuring environments where people feel safe, valued, and respected.
Non-Retaliation & Accountability
We review and strengthen policies and practices to ensure a workplace culture that upholds equity, inclusion, and psychological safety.

Our policies are reviewed and revised on an ongoing basis. We want our employees to fulfill their potential, and we strive to integrate their views, beliefs, and values into the work they do in our communities.
We welcome participation from our staff and community, so we’ve created a platform to submit feedback, report harms, and share experiences for us to address.
