Financial Workshop

In partnership with the Jersey City Housing Authority, Self-sufficiency program, and New Jersey Citizen Action, Skyway hosted a financial workshop series for community members.

Kiddy Krafts

Volunteers lead fun educational themed crafts for children as an after school activity.

Infant/Child CPR classes

In partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health, we hosted CPR classes for caregivers of small children.

Memories with dad

Fathers are important beings in their children development. During our carnival theme program, fathers played games with children and met other fathers from the community.

Nutrition Classes

The Community Food Bank of New Jersey hosted an 8-week series on eating healthy on a budget. Moms and children tried different recipes together and learned important information about “My Plate”.

Oral Health Workshop

Parents and children enjoyed learning about the importance of brushing their teeth and flossing.

Women DIY

Women enjoy an hour of self-care and learn how to transform recycled materials intro beautiful décor.

Family Art Day

We enjoy seeing our families working together. Children and parents shared quality time creating decorations for the Center.

Computer lab corner

Community members are welcomed to use our computers for job resume, completing online applications or for kids to complete their homework. Free printing and faxing services available.

Conference Room

This is our multipurpose room. We often host presentation and workshops in this space.

Dining Room

A space where we host small gatherings with families. We often share a cup of tea or coffee and a good talk

Family Corner

A space for children and families to play and meet other members of the community.
