Yo Ziany Reyes, agradesco a Liberty Family Success Center por ayudarme con el programa de Zoom.

Antes yo no podía ayudar a mi hija con sus tareas y me sentía muy frustrada é impotente, porque era mucho trabajo y no sabia cómo ayudar a mi hija Johanna. 

Cuando me invitaron a una reunión del Centro del Familia Liberty Success para enseñarnos sobre el programa de Zoom; fue muy bueno y nos ayudaron a aprender cómo usar el Zoom, cómo compartir pantallas ,cómo ser anfitrión, y mucho más. 

Ahora puedo tener mis propias reuniones  y compartir las tareas de mis hijos con las voluntarias de homework  club. 

Yo les agradesco a Genesis, a Viviana y a Shamma por la labor y apoyo incondicional que nos han dado y por pensar en nosotras las madres que tenemos poca experiencia con programas.

I, Ziany Reyes, want to thank Liberty Family Success Center for helping me with the zoom training.

Before, I wasn’t able to help my daughter with her homework and I felt frustrated and powerless because it was a lot of work and I didn’t know how to help my daughter Johanna.

I got invited to the workshop from the family success center to teach us how the zoom software works. The workshop went well, we were able to learn how to use zoom, how to share documents, and how to host a meeting and a lot more. Now I can have my own meetings and share my kids’ homework with the homework club tutors.

I thank Genesis, Viviana and Shamma for the work and for the unconditional support that you have given us and for thinking about us, the mothers who have very little experience with technology.

Recently a parent whose child attends the Homework Club shared how helpful the homework club program has been for her and her family. With Spanish being her only language, helping her child with homework was very difficult. The parent reports that since her son started attending the program, he has become more confident and better understands his homework assignments. He even received an “A” for the first time ever in school.
