Shamma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a concentration in Community Health Education from Montclair State University. She is very passionate about health communication, advocacy, and program planning. As the site director, she strives to bring innovative ideas to create a center that truly serves the community and surrounding areas. Shamma has an energetic and welcoming personality and is eager to greet you when you visit the Liberty Family Success Center!

Genesis will complete her academic work and obtain a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar college in December 2020. Genesis is passionate about bringing change to communities through education and empowering parents. As the family partner, she is dedicated to providing you with the most up to date resources as well as essential services such as translation of documents, one on one sessions (by appointment only), as well as developing unique programs for the community!

Viviana Thaker

Viviana holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education from New Jersey City University and an associate’s degree in Psychology from Bergen Community College; Viviana has in-depth knowledge in community needs assessment, planning and program implementation. Prior to pursuing a career in social services Viviana spent twelve years working in the dental health field where she focused on providing community resources and patient education. As the Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator at the Liberty Family Success Center she applies her diverse knowledge and skills to serve the community of Kearny, NJ.
