Christina’s main focus is getting to know the wonderful community that surrounds Greenway, and finding ways to help them: from connecting people to resources to simply brightening their day. Just like the mission of Family Success Centers, Christina is passionate about building strong, healthy family relationships. During her years at Greenway FSC, she has seen how strong and brave our local families are, and how much of a difference it makes when people feel like their voices are heard. Her vision and aim are for every person in the community to know what resources and supports are available to them, so they and their loved ones can thrive. Outside of Greenway, Christina is very involved in volunteer work and loves baking and cooking, reading, and exploring different cultures.

Christina received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences.

Arielmy Morel

Prior to graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Skidmore College, Arielmy had already gained an intimate knowledge of the various strengths and weaknesses of social service systems that can only come with growing up in a low-income neighborhood and a first-generation, non-English-speaking home. These early experiences ignited a lifelong passion within her to not only give back to the types of communities that fostered her potential, no matter how few resources there seemed to be, but also grew her interest in contributing to social service organizations that seemed to not only want to help but also empower and build self-sufficiency.

At Greenway as a Family Partner, Arielmy works with families and individuals in the community who have a variety of needs and passions. Whether it is helping families discover life-changing resources or simply asking to see how someone’s day was, Arielmy sees all these tasks as important because they truly affect people’s lives! She helps organize and run Greenway programming, as well as to conduct outreach to community members and represent Greenway in the community. In her time off work, Arielmy enjoys cooking and baking, gardening with her family, and learning about sustainability, self-improvement, and minimalism.

Marissa Vargas

Marissa Vargas is the Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator at Greenway Family Success Center. She has a psychology degree from Rutgers University and has worked in the non-profit field for four years. Marissa prides herself in creating new and engaging programming for families. She is passionate about helping others and empowering others to give a helping hand through volunteering at Greenway. In her free time, Marissa likes to try new local foods and hiking new trails around the NJ area.
