The Power Hour is a structured, peer-led recovery group designed to help participants build stability, accountability, and practical coping skills. This group focuses on using the hour intentionally strengthening emotional regulation, decision-making, self-awareness, and healthy routines that support long-term recovery.

Learn essential workplace computer skills with resume and job search support, mentorship, and 1:1 assistance in collaboration with Literacy NJ. Intake required; participants must receive TANF, GA, SNAP, or ABAWD.

Teen Speak workshops provide parents and other supporting adults with the strategies, techniques, and answers they need to talk comfortably and confidently with their teens to reduce risks and build stronger relationships. This workshop will be offered in a hybrid format.

Join the NJ4S Team as they discuss ways to boost self-confidence and develop courage for young children. This workshop is for young girls, but all families are welcome to join.

Peer Support Works meetings offer a nonjudgmental space for people exploring safer ways to reduce substance-related harm. Each week, we have the opportunity to engage with constituents and participants, creating space for conversation, support, and connection. Once a month a representative comes to the center to assist families to apply for  NJ SNAP benefits and answer any questions related to NJ SNAP. An appointment is required for assistance, please call us at 201-622-2210 to schedule a time.

Active Parenting provides parents with guidance, resources, and encouragement to strengthen family relationships and promote positive child development.

SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. Smart Recovery offers a non-spiritual  solution for addiction, and is a popular alternative, or supplement, to the more spiritually focused 12-steps programs. SMART can help you: build and maintain motivation; cope with urges; manage  thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and live a  balanced life.

A group focused on supporting individuals in recovery who have encountered a relapse or slip up in their journey. Topics include dealing with early recovery challenges and practical tools to offset negative  thinking.

An alternative to 12-step meetings, “All Recovery” meetings welcome all who struggle with addiction, are affected by addiction, or support the recovery lifestyle. The Kiosk offers county-wide information and access to essential resource applications, including SNAP, WIC, Emergency Assistance (EA), and NJ Medicaid, through an on-site Chromebook.
