Internships
We accept both bachelor’s and master’s level interns in psychology, social work, public health, and other related fields. We have internship opportunities for Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors. Our administrative offices have internships for fundraising and marketing, social media management, journalism, data analysis, nonprofit management, public administration, and related fields.

Family Success
Volunteer your skills and talents at the Center in your local area! Invested participants may also join our Parent Advisory Committee made up of active community participants and families who discuss and create new programs based on the current needs and interests of the community.
Recovery Support
Volunteer your skills and talents at the Recovery Center in your local area! Individuals who are in recovery, or who have a passion for helping those who are, are encouraged to volunteer with our recovery support division. Invested participants may also join our Advisory Committee made up of active community participants who discuss and create new programs based on the current needs and interests of the community. We also provide practicum hours for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists.

Community Prevention
Are you passionate about protecting our communities from substance misuse and its effects? Anyone who lives or works in Union County is welcome to join our Health and Wellness Coalition. HAWC convenes both in-person meetings and trainings, as well as web-based updates and information sharing through social media and our quarterly e-newsletter.
