CRANFORD, NJ – Prevention Links is proud to announce the 27th Annual Red Ribbon Day, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, NJ. This free, family-friendly event invites the community to walk, celebrate recovery, support youth mental health, and stand together in the fight against substance use and overdose.

Red Ribbon Day is  a vibrant day of connection, celebration, and community empowerment. What began as a local awareness event has become a countywide movement that welcomes hundreds participants each year. This year’s event will feature:

  • A community awareness walk starting at 10:00 AM
  • An inspiring ceremony at 11:00 AM honoring changemakers in prevention and recovery
  • A Family Fun Festival kicking off at 12:00 PM with:
    🎨 Face painting & pumpkin painting
    🛝 Carnival games & inflatables
    🎶 Live music & entertainment
    🧁 Bake sale & food trucks
    🧘‍♀️ Wellness activities like yoga & martial arts demos
