Over the past several weeks, Prevention Links and many other organizations across the country got some shocking news: our federal grant funding had been cut. Just as quickly, it was restored.

We’re grateful of course, but we’re also unsettled.

While the funding is back, the message it sent was that the support systems we’ve built for people in recovery aren’t as secure as they should be.
