Dear Friends,

As much as we love to say, “It never rains on Red Ribbon Day,” this year, the weather had other plans. And yet—what a beautiful day it turned out to be. Even with on and off rain, our community showed up in full force, umbrellas in hand, smiles wide, and spirits high. By the end of the day, during Zumba, we had a crowd full of people, joyfully dancing in the rain.

We were honored to be joined by Union County Commissioner Chairwoman Lourdes Leon, Commissioner Sergio Granados, and Commissioner Kim Palmieri-Mouded, who presented the Red Ribbon Week proclamation on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. Their presence reinforced what this day stands for: a shared commitment to prevention, recovery, and the safety and wellbeing of our families.
