The RESTORE program is for women over the age of 16 in New Jersey who have been directly or indirectly affected by the opioid crisis. This program provides free occupational training including Certified Nursing Aid and IC3 Digital Literacy Certifications, as well as job coaching and access to peer recovery support.
Urban Workforce Advantage also has an incredibly skilled staff that can assist with job placement and career opportunities. Prevention Links provides RESTORE participants with free weekly recovery support for both women in recovery and loved ones of those in recovery from opioid addiction.
The recovery support includes weekly recovery coaching sessions in person or via phone with a CPRS (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist). These sessions include helping participants set and achieve goals for their recovery, providing resources and tools to help engage the participant in the recovery community, support from someone who has walked in their shoes and so much more.
RESTORE also provides several monthly educational presentations on substance misuse, skills, and tools to manage recovery & recovery of a loved one and information on what self-care is and what it looks like on an individual level. RESTORE is an incredible opportunity for women impacted by the opioid crisis to receive professional job training, have compassionate and well-trained individuals provide job placement and opportunities, build a safe and healthy community of recovery and set and achieve their short and long term goals- all free of charge.
