Workforce Support

Workforce Support provides case management and peer support to individuals in recovery or active addiction to become game fully employed in the careers of their choosing.

The Workforce Support Program is designed to assist individuals starting at 16 years old and older, have a history of substance use disorder and is a resident of most counties within New Jersey. The program does not discriminate against where an individual may be in the recovery process and opens its doors to anyone who fits these parameters.

Participants in the program are provided with a non-clinical case manager as well as a peer recovery specialist, within this model the participant and case manager create an individualized work plan and utilize it to accomplish their goals; while the peer recovery specialist is helping them to navigate the through the process using their own lived experience.

A unique feature of this workforce support program is the inclusion of an evidence-based practice, Finding your balance; Navigating Relationships in Recovery. This innovative practice helps to facilitate managing work life and family life balance and provides positive coping skills.

If you or a loved one has been directly impacted by substance use and is looking to enter or re-enter the employment arena and/or looking for training, please contact us for more information.
