24th Annual Red Ribbon Day

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our 24th Annual Red Ribbon Day. It is because of supporters like you that we are able to carry out our mission and help keep our communities a safe, happy and healthy place to call home.

This year’s event had a tremendous turn out and we want to make sure we extend our gratitude to those of you who could make it in-person. We walk on Red Ribbon Day to raise awareness of drug prevention efforts, show that addiction recovery is possible & available to individuals & families in need, and to honor those who we’ve lost to the addiction crisis. We walk because together, we are stronger. We walk for a brighter future for our communities.

Our Fundraising Efforts

Will you help us reach our goal? We’re extending our Red Ribbon Campaign through Giving Tuesday on November 29th! You can create your own fundraising page on behalf of Prevention Links, or simply donate to the campaign.

By supporting our fundraiser, you not only help us carry out our mission, but show others that addiction recovery and prevention are vital to the wellbeing of our community. Visit the Red Ribbon Page to start your fundraiser or donate today. Thank you for your support!

Stay Tuned for the save the date for our 25th Annual Red Ribbon Day!

What is Red Ribbon Day?

Red Ribbon locally and nationally serves as a catalyst to mobilize communities to increase awareness and support for substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery. Now more than ever, it is crucial for us as community members to stand together & fight to end the overdose epidemic, support recovery and keep our children safe.

Become a 2023 Red Ribbon Day sponsor!

This event presents a special opportunity to advertise your corporation in a meaningful way. Not only do businesses reach a greater audience, but also help make the community a safer place to work & live. To be a sponsor for the 25th Annual Red Ribbon Day, contact Madeline Desrosiers (she/her) at mdesrosiers@preventionlinks.org

How do I get involved?

Start raising awareness for Red Ribbon Day by starting your fundraiser ahead of time! Registration for our 2023 25th Annual Red Ribbon Day will open in the New Year 🙂

You’ll have the option to create a personal walk team through our registration page that friends, family and coworkers can join at any point before the event. Walk teams can be used as a meaningful way to honor a loved one and/or represent your family, school, social circle or organization as a group that cares about preventing addiction and supporting recovery.

Walk teams & individuals can raise funds for Red Ribbon Day to help support Prevention Links in our daily operations, free programs & services. Top fundraisers get a special spot on our Red Ribbon Leadership Board. Teams or individuals that raise $500 or more will be listed as a top supporter in our Annual Report and get a special shoutout on our social media pages!

Raise awareness about drug prevention efforts and addiction! Red Ribbon Day is most importantly about making a meaningful impact on our community. Sharing facts about addiction prevention & recovery; prevention & recovery resources; and personal stories with the people you know makes a huge impact! Check out our social media pages for some content you could share on your own page
