Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs And Violence Prevention Trainings

Prevention Links provides a variety of evidenced based prevention trainings to the community. These trainings can be on a single topic or a combination of topics. Participants will receive information about the topic covered, the negative consequences associated, programs used to prevent the issue, and what community members can do to help. These trainings are often used to educate already established groups or used to help new groups develop their strategies. Prevention Links’ Presenters receive frequent training on the latest research and are well qualified to field question on the topics presented. Asset Training

Based on research from the Search Institute, Prevention Links provided workshops for parents and community groups on Developmental Assets. Developmental Assets are 40 common sense, positive experiences and qualities that help influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults. This training focuses on the protective factors necessary to live a healthy, drug free life.
